In the golden era of Texas Latin Rap, there was one force that was consistently on the top radio hits and major albums of the time, and that was Powda. Powda is well known for her melodic hooks and hard hitting lyrics. Way ahead of her time, she was a fast rising star creating many radio hits as a part of Salty Water Records. Powda then made made a transition to Dope House Records. When her album was never released she decided to focus on other things. 

After spending many years musically retired, Powda received two Legend Awards in 2022 recognizing her talents and contributions as a pioneer in the culture. In the beginning of 2023 an urge got her in the studio to work on a couple of features. The passion started to burn again. She is now CEO of her own Independent Record Label, Angelic Records. 

Powda has been working on her highly anticipated album entitled The Queen is Back, produced by Manek Media. This is her first single "Bang Bang" which shows off her lyrical abilities on this futuristic dirty south anthem. Featuring a bridge from Dope House Records legend and long time collaborator Low G, this new single will start blazing thru playlists and quickly become a fan favorite across the  nation.
